Arbour Hill (Irish: Cnoc an Arbhair) is an inner city area of Dublin, on the Northside of the River Liffey, in the Dublin 7 postal district.  Arbour Hill, the road of the same name, runs west from Blackhall Place in Stoneybatter, and separates Collins Barracks, now part of the National Museum of Ireland, to the south from Arbour Hill Prison to the north, whose graveyard includes the burial plot of the signatories of the Easter Proclamation that began the 1916 Rising. 
The Irish composer Vincent Kennedy set a movement entitled "Arbour Hill" as part of his commissioned Symphonic work "IRISHMEN AND IRISHWOMEN" in 1916. The movement is a moving tribute to the 1916 signatories and leaders buried at Arbour Hill graveyard.

The Royal Canal (Irish: An Chanáil Ríoga) is a canal originally built for freight and passenger transportation from the River Liffey in Dublin to Longford in Ireland. The canal fell into disrepair in the late 20th century, but much of the canal has since been restored for navigation. The length of the canal to the River Shannon was reopened on 1 October 2010, but the final spur branch of the canal to Longford Town remains closed.

Harold's Cross (Irish: Cros Araild, meaning "Harold's Cross") is an urban village and inner suburb on the south side of Dublin, Ireland.  The River Poddle runs through it, and it holds both a major cemetery, Mount Jerome, and Our Lady's Hospice.

According to the 2016 census, the total population of County Dublin was 1,345,402, approximately 27% of the Republic of Ireland's population. The county is a NUTS 3 region, and is part of the NUTS 2 region of Eastern and Midland.

Baldoyle (Irish: Baile Dúill) is a coastal suburb of Dublin's northside. It is located in the southeastern part of the jurisdiction of Fingal, Ireland, developed from a former fishing village.
