Baldoyle (Irish: Baile Dúill) is a coastal suburb of Dublin's northside. It is located in the southeastern part of the jurisdiction of Fingal, Ireland, developed from a former fishing village.
Baldoyle is also a civil parish in the barony of Coolock within the historic County Dublin.

Leopardstown (Irish: Baile na Lobhar, meaning "Town of the Lepers") is a village in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, County Dublin, Ireland, located at the foot of the Dublin Mountains. A residential suburb in the east of the greater Dublin area, it is divided by the course of the M50 motorway, and adjoins the neighbouring areas of Sandyford, Stepaside, Ballyogan, Foxrock and Stillorgan.

Clondalkin ( klun-DAWK-ən; Irish: Cluain Dolcáin, meaning "Dolcan's meadow") is a suburban town situated 10 km south-west of Dublin city centre, Ireland, under the administrative jurisdiction of South Dublin.  It features an eighth-century round tower that acts as a focal point for the area.  Clondalkin forms part of the Dublin Mid-West Dáil constituency and its postal code is Dublin 22.
Clondalkin is also the name of a civil parish in the ancient barony of Uppercross, and is also used in relation to some local religious parishes.

County Dublin (Irish: Contae Bhaile Átha Cliath or Contae Átha Cliath) is one of the thirty-two traditional counties of Ireland. Prior to 1994 it was also an administrative county covering the whole county outside of Dublin City Council. In 1994, as part of a reorganisation of local government within Dublin the boundaries of Dublin City were redrawn, Dublin County Council was abolished and three new administrative county councils were established: Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Fingal and South Dublin.
While it is no longer used as an administrative division for local government, it retains a strong identity in popular culture. It is in the province of Leinster, and is named after the city of Dublin, the capital city of Ireland. County Dublin was one of the first parts of Ireland to be shired by John, King of England following the Norman invasion of Ireland. 
According to the 2016 census, the total population of County Dublin was 1,345,402, approximately 27% of the Republic of Ireland's population. The county is a NUTS 3 region, and is part of the NUTS 2 region of Eastern and Midland.

Porterstown station is a proposed transport interchange intended for the Porterstown area of Dublin. The intended station would form an interchange between heavy rail services operated by Iarnród Éireann and light rail operations on the planned Dublin Metro's Metro West line.The station would serve areas of Blanchardstown, Clonsilla and Carpenterstown. The heavy rail station would be located on the Maynooth Line and would have Commuter services operating to Mullingar and Navan from both Dublin Connolly and Docklands, as well as high frequency DART services. 
The Dublin Metro is a proposed light rail operation, with the station intended to be built on an elevated section over the railway line and adjacent Royal Canal. The Metro West line was indefinitely postponed in late 2011, as no capital funding is available.
